A german special machine manufacturer received an order from one of the world's top 10 automotive suppliers to build special machines for the production of shaft fins. These are used in coolant radiators, oil coolers, heating modules or evaporators in the air conditioning system. ALFRED GIESSER MESSERFABRIK received the order to develop a cutting solution that cuts the accordion-shaped aluminum corrugated fins to length in the shortest possible time without damaging the corrugated fins. Our engineers scored with a precise solution and achieved a service life maximization through various hardness and material tests.
